The Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at the Institute of Technology, University of Kashmir, has been established to foster a strong culture of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and startup development within and beyond the University ecosystem.

As part of its ongoing efforts to empower innovators, researchers, and early-stage entrepreneurs, CIIE provides comprehensive technical, legal, and procedural support for filing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). This initiative is designed to help departments, faculty, and students safeguard their innovative ideas, research outcomes, and creative works through proper IPR protection. Through this mechanism, departments across the University can approach CIIE for professional guidance and end-to-end support in protecting their intellectual property assets.
